Coaches

Whilst providing quality coaching our coaches will aim to maintain a safe encouraging, friendly and enjoyable but at the same time professional environment. We have got 10 Level 2 coaches and 1 Level 3 coaches in our coaching taem supported by over 12 Level 1 Assistants and helpers

Chris Tonks - Head Coach Level 3

Chris was an England International player, representing England from 2000 to 2007, reaching England Number 2 in doubles at the height of his professional career and a world ranking of no 39. His achievements included playing at the European Championships, winning a number of international tournaments and being part of the England team in the Thomas Cup Finals. Chris was Head Coach at the Shirley and Solihull Badminton Club & Performance Centre near Birmingham for 4 years and is part of a pool of coaches used by Badminton England. And, MOST IMPORTANTLY, he's now England Junior Pathway Coach from Jan 24
